Opening hours

The cathedral is open every day of the year from 8:00 am to 6:45 pm (7:15 pm on Saturdays and Sundays).

Access to the cathedral is open and free of charge ever day of the year, during the opening hours.

Reception - Information

The cathedral reception (in front of the entrance) is open :
- Monday to Friday : from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
- Saturdays and Sundays : from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

 

Service times

Synday services :

Saturday :

  • 5:45 pm : first Sunday vespers services
  • 6:30 pm : Sunday mass at the main altar

Sundays (all services held at the main altar) :

 

Weekdays, Monday to Saturday noon :

 

Eucharistic Adoration*: Every Thursday after mass from 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm

*In summer (July and August) no 9:00 am mass Monday to Saturday and no Eucharistic adoration on Thursday evening.

 

Veneration of the Crown of Thorns and the Relics of the Passion : Every first Friday of the month and every Friday during Lent 3 p.m. On Good Friday, this veneration is held all day long.

Meet with a priest

Every day, priests are on hand at the chapel reception for spiritual counselling and/or giving the sacrament of pardon.

Main languages: French – English –Spanish– Italian – Portuguese – German – Japanese – Chinese

  • weekdays and Saturdays : from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm*
  • Sundays : from 9:30 am to 1:30 p.m. and from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm*

*During the summer (July and August), the reception is usually closed between 12:30 am and 3:00 pm

 

Treasury

The cathedral Treasury is open every day, see hours below :

  • Monday to Friday: from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Saturday: from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
  • Sundays: from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm

These hours may vary according to exceptional celebrations.

Audioguides are available at reception, at the entrance of Cathedral. This 35-minute guide describes the spiritual message of this great Christian site, through its History, its architecture, its sculptures, its windows, and more. French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese. Availability:

  • Monday to Saturday: from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Sundays: from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

These visits are free of charge.
